Swell<\/em>, 2002, polymerized cement, fibreglass, pigments, polyurethane, steel pipes, 152 X 731 X 304 cm <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’\u0153uvre Swell<\/em> est n\u00e9e d’un souvenir fugace de linge qui s\u00e8che par une journ\u00e9e venteuse du d\u00e9but de l’automne. La pi\u00e8ce centrale \u00e9voque les draps se m\u00e9tamorphosant sans cesse, tandis que les formes sph\u00e9riques gonfl\u00e9es rappellent des fruits, certains trop m\u00fbrs, suspendus \u00e0 un arbre. Les formes fractales bleues, quant \u00e0 elles, \u00e9voquent les \u00e9tranges graines de capucine. L’effet surr\u00e9aliste de l’installation est tributaire du fait que la m\u00e9moire n’a pas d’\u00e9chelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
